Our non-UK Armed Forces members couldn’t do what they do without their family support networks, yet families face high visa and settlement costs. Serving personnel from the nations including Fiji, St Vincent and The Grenadines, and Ghana, play a crucial role in the UK Armed Forces. They currently comprise over 1 in 20 trained Regular personnel, and their families provide a vital source of support while they are serving, yet too many non-UK personnel still face significant barriers to family life in the UK.
At the last election, the Government pledged to “scrap visa fees for non-UK veterans who have served for four or more years and their dependents”.
Will you join us and sign our petition asking the UK Government to fulfil its promise and remove barriers preventing families of non-UK Armed Forces personnel from staying in the UK?
